Meghan grew up in Vermont, surrounded by lots of land and animals. She spent her childhood riding horses, playing with the chickens, and taking her family's dogs on long walks through the woods. She's always been the go-to family member or friend to pet-sit, and is grateful for every chance to spend quality time with a furry creature.

Before moving to the beautiful mountains of Asheville, she and her partner, Sam, were off exploring the world, teaching English and dreaming of adopting the adorable dogs, cats and horses they came across. Soon after settling in Asheville, they adopted two sweet kittens who they love more than anything.

Other than curling up with her cats and a good book, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, skiing and almost any other outdoor adventure.

She is looking forward to getting to know the wonderful animals here in her new community!
