Cole S
PET SITTER / DOG WALKER / HIKER
Cole is an animal loving Latin teacher, who recently shifted careers to focus on pet care. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Latin from Sweet Briar College and her Masters and Educational Specialist Degrees from the University of Georgia. For 15 years, Cole was devoted to her students, often traveling to academic competitions and leading organized student trips to Italy.
Cole has had a love for working with and caring for animals her whole life. At a young age, she began taking riding lessons and competing in equestrian sports. This passion flourished in college with the purchase of her horse Fidias, who is now twenty-four! In 2008, Cole devoted herself to Bernese Mountain Dog rescue and currently co-chairs the rescue efforts of the Blue Ridge Bernese Mountain Dog Club. She has lived in the area since 2015, and shares her life with her husband (Chris), three female Berners (River, Maple, and Joni), two male Berners (Rhodes and Quinn), and her horse (Fidias). Cole loves exploring the mountains with her dogs and competing in agility, drafting, rally, and obedience. She is so excited to be on the Auntie M team, and help care for our community's wonderful pets!
