Abby found her home in Asheville in 2022 after eight years in New Jersey. She is originally from Maryland where her family still lives. Abby's passion in life has always been first and foremost animals and their care. Her love for animals began at a young age with dogs and horses, and led to getting her Bachelor's Degree in Equine Studies from Centenary University. During her time in NJ she began dog walking and pet sitting. She also worked professionally on a Clydesdale farm and spent two and a half years as the Equine Care Manager on a rescue farm in New Jersey. Abby is experienced and comfortable with farm and domestic animals who have a wide range of conditions and special needs.

Abby joined the Auntie M team in 2022 as a dog walker and pet sitter. She transitioned to her role as the administrative assistant in early 2024 and is excited to support the team in a new way. Abby has always been committed to the well being of the animals in her life. She and her husband are bunny parents to two rabbits Bombur & Brego. In her spare time Abby writes, rides horses, enjoys canning, tending to her plants, and throwing parties for her niece and nephews.
